Raise money for brain tumor research! It’s for an important cause! Every year more than 200,000 individuals in the United States are diagnosed with a brain tumor. And, while this number is increasing due to a growing and aging population, the prospects for improving treatment have never looked brighter. Innovations in computer technology, delivery devices and biologic advances are providing researchers and clinicians with the tools to achieve enhanced outcomes and, in some cases, even a cure for certain types of brain tumors. Walk alone, form a team, or volunteer! Everyone is welcome. Bring your family and friends. The route is wheelchair and stroller accessible. Dogs are allowed, but they must remain on a leash at all times. Organize a group of four or more people to form your team. All registered participants will receive a Goodie Bag and an official “Stride to Save Lives” T-shirt.
The walk will start and finish at Montrose Harbor. Plenty of free parking is available. Enjoy post-race food & entertainment!
The incredible Carpacho and his Super Combo will perform fun, tropical dance music and a barbeque lunch will be provided at the end of the walk.
